Not as Whimsical as You Remember
While some may prefer the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the 2005 remake undeniably featured impressive special effects, with much of it relying on CGI. For actors, however, performing in scenes like the boat ride on the chocolate river often demands a great deal of imagination.
They must react convincingly to what’s supposedly happening around them while surrounded by green screens that offer no visual cues. The actors’ ability to immerse themselves in these imaginary worlds is indeed impressive.
