Jennifer Lawrence in “Mother!”
Never one to mince her words, Jennifer Lawrence was pretty open about her opinions of her infamously divisive 2017 movie Mother! Though she felt proud of her role, Lawrence later confessed her shock upon viewing the finished movie for the first time.
“She admitted, ‘I was really shaken,'” at the New York premiere of the film. “My first reaction was that we took it too far.” The movie certainly received its fair share of criticism, but it hasn’t done any harm to Lawrence’s stellar career.
