Emelia Clarke in “Terminator Genesys”

Though she is a bona fide star thanks to her legendary turn as Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen in the mega-successful Game of Thrones franchise, her first Hollywood big-screen role that catapulted Emelia Clarke into the world of science fiction and fantasy was Terminator Genisys and it one that she remembers less than fondly.

In her conversation with Vanity Fair, she described how Terminator had “eaten and chewed up” her good friend and director Alan Taylor, making him unrecognizable from the director she remembered. He didn’t have a good time. No one had a good time.”
