This restroom sign’s message is quite perplexing. Much like dogs, all insects have male and female members within their species. However, using only butterflies and moths for women doesn’t align with this biological reality.
The choice to provide men with various insects while simplifying women’s representation of Lepidoptera raises questions. Additionally, the use of “damsel” for women while including damselflies on the men’s side adds another layer of inconsistency.
