Mont-Saint Michel: The Castle in the Clouds

While the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum are France’s more renowned tourist attractions, Mont-Saint Michel should not be overlooked. Expansive beach areas surround this picturesque tidal island, with a population of only 50.

It is a commune with a rich history spanning several centuries. Currently listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it welcomes over three million visitors annually.
