In recent interviews, Angelina has been open about the separation. In a 2017 interview, she stated, “I think it’s very important to cry in the shower and not in front of the children. They need to know that everything’s going to be all right even when you’re not sure it is.” She acknowledges that this is a difficult time for her children but is determined to make the transition as smooth as possible, even if it means hiding her sadness.
