Frank Sinatra
Legendary crooner Frank Sinatra, known for his song “My Way,” had a regret related to his personal life. One of his most famous lines in the song is “Regrets, I’ve had a few,” his greatest regret was leaving his first wife, Nancy Barbato, for Hollywood actress Ava Gardner.
Sinatra had married Nancy in 1939 but left her and their three children in 1951. His career partly drove his decision to marry Ava. However, he openly admitted later in life that if he could turn back time, he would have stayed with Nancy. His life story often mirrored the lyrics of his songs.
