David Bowie – Enlarged Pupil

There was a common misconception that David Bowie had different colored eyes, but in reality, the singer had a condition called anisocoria, which refers to having pupils of different sizes. Unlike the assumption of a genetic cause, Bowie’s anisocoria resulted from a childhood altercation.

During a fistfight with his longtime friend George Underwood, Bowie injured his eye from a fingernail, leading to a permanently enlarged pupil. Fortunately, forgiveness has prevailed over time, although the incident remains in their memories. It’s worth noting that the girl they fought over became a fleeting presence in the musician’s life.
