The actor rarely discusses his condition openly, leading many fans to speculate whether the appearance of his hands was artificially created for his role as Hawkeye. However, that is not the case.
There is a misconception that Renner’s CGI arms in the movie “Tag” were an attempt to conceal his clubbed fingernails. In reality, the CGI hid that Renner had broken his arms while filming the movie.
