Lived with Caesar When Assassinated

In a bold move, Cleopatra relocated to Rome and lived there alongside Julius Caesar as his mistress. This audacious step was not without consequences, as it stirred animosity among the Romans. The presence of a statue of Cleopatra in the Temple of Venus and her association with Caesar’s love-child fueled resentment.

When Caesar was assassinated, Cleopatra was forced to flee quickly, as her charms and charisma could not shield her from the political unrest that had been brewing for some time.
