Double Birthday Surprise
On March 7th, 1990, Patty Hensel gave birth to two beautiful babies with a single body. Throughout her pregnancy, pre-natal scans had indicated the presence of just one baby, arriving Dicephalus conjoined twins a tremendous surprise for both parents.
The birth of the twins was met with astonishment, as they faced incredibly slim odds of surviving beyond the first twenty-four hours – approximately one in thirty million. Due to their shared body’s intricate and closely linked nature, separation was ruled out as an option.
