Caught Twice
Linda was already having a rough day when she got pulled over and handed a traffic ticket. But she didn’t expect that the cop who wrote her up would also be the guy waiting for her at a blind date later that evening. That’s right — her friend had unknowingly set her up with the very same officer who had just ruined her day. Talk about timing.
Needless to say, the date started off with serious tension. Linda couldn’t look at him without seeing flashing lights and the fine she now owed. The cop tried to laugh it off, but she wasn’t quite there yet. It’s a small world, and this awkward coincidence made for one of the most uncomfortable dinners imaginable. Maybe they managed to get past it. Or maybe she asked him to cover the ticket as an icebreaker. Either way, it’s a meet-cute no one could ever plan.
