So Many Red Flags
Heather’s date wasn’t just a little awkward — it was a red flag parade. Her date had a criminal record, which isn’t always a deal-breaker, but things went downhill fast. He showed up with bad breath and talked nonstop about his ex, neither of which are great first-date moves. Instead of focusing on getting to know Heather, he dragged his baggage out for everyone to see.
It’s one thing to be honest, but there’s such a thing as too much information, too soon. Bringing up prison time and past relationships within the first ten minutes? Not exactly a winning formula. Heather handled it as gracefully as possible, but it was obvious this wouldn’t be going anywhere. Maybe he just needed to vent. Or maybe he needs to revisit how first impressions work. Either way, she dodged a bullet, and we’re glad she had a strong enough radar to walk away.
