Got A Time Limit
Installing benches that inflict pain on people is not a solution but rather an act of cruelty. It is understandable to discourage people from loitering in the park for long periods, but inflicting pain is not a humane way of doing so. People who use the park for leisure or relaxation should be able to do so without being subjected to discomfort or pain. Moreover, such benches could be dangerous, especially for the elderly or people with disabilities.
Instead of resorting to such inhumane measures, the city government can come up with more creative and effective solutions. For example, they can install signs reminding park visitors to limit their stay or hire park attendants to patrol and monitor the park’s usage. The city can also create more engaging activities or events to encourage people to visit the park and, in doing so, promote a sense of community and ownership. By implementing these measures, the city can make the park a more inviting and comfortable space for all to enjoy without the need for benches that inflict pain.
