Not a Show of Good Faith
When you participate in online competitions, it’s pretty normal to ask your friends to vote for you. But what if each vote costs $1, like in this case, and you ask that friend for over a thousand dollars?
What makes this even worse is that the friend used to have feelings for her, and she tried to manipulate that to get money from him! We don’t feel very nice using terms like ‘gold digger,’ but it may actually be appropriate in this case.
