Setting aside politics, it is intriguing to witness the deep devotion of this young girl to her faith. Even individuals not identifying as spiritual may resort to prayer in despair.
While it might be seen as a final option, if this young Russian believed that bowing down before a printed and framed portrait of her country’s leader would assist her in overcoming any challenges she faced, it is not our place to pass judgment.
