Here Be Dragons
If you’re keen on witnessing Komodo dragons in their natural habitat, a flight to Indonesia is your gateway. These colossal lizards are the world’s largest and can reach lengths of nearly 10 feet. Unfortunately, they are also among the many endangered species found here.
The first documented sighting of a Komodo dragon dates back to 1910, and their remarkable size led to near-extinction due to hunting. Remarkably, they are the sole surviving “real” dragons! Pretty cool, right?
