The Indonesian Airlines
Since the early 2000s, Indonesia has experienced more than 45 air accidents within its borders. Due to safety concerns, the European Union permits only seven Indonesian airlines to operate within its airspace, while 55 Indonesian airlines remain banned.
However, one budget Indonesian airline, Lion Air, plans to expand its fleet significantly. They have 113 aircraft, with plans to add 443 planes. No other airline has such an extensive waiting list for new aircraft.
