Does anyone object?
We’ve seen this in movies where the bride and the groom are standing at the altar, and the priest says, “If anyone can show just cause why this couple cannot be lawfully joined together in matrimony, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.” And then the bride and groom wince, hoping no one will disrupt their ceremony with a boisterous, “I object!”
Fortunately, this part of the ceremony is a thing of the past (and the movies) and usually isn’t involved. People rarely object these days. However, this pack of dogs had some protesting to do! Sometimes, animals have the best comedic timing. We can’t blame this couple for converting to cat people, though.
