I would if I could

The bride and groom’s parents play a pretty significant role at weddings. Not only are they there for support and to “give their children away,” but they are also the poster children of successful marriages (even though half of the marriages end in divorce). Happy marriage or not, having parents around to share their stories is nice.

In this situation, the bride’s parents kept it real. They showed what marriage is all about mishaps and silly shenanigans that make wonderful stories with the years (after the initial anger and embarrassment are over). This groom stepping on the bride’s dress is something you’d see in a sitcom!
