As good as blood
While Adidas aimed for a striking design on these shoes, the predominant use of red on a white background creates an unfortunate resemblance to blood stains. Had they opted for black instead, it’s likely that more people would have been inclined to purchase the shoes.
It would be regrettable if someone wore this pair of shoes in the vicinity of an injury. Onlookers might hastily attribute blame to the wearer, judging solely by the shoe’s appearance.
