Rue McClanahan
Rue McClanahan, celebrated for her role in The Golden Girls, had a colorful romantic history that could fill a book – and indeed, it did. In her memoir titled “My First Five Husbands … And the Ones Who Got Away,” she delved into her multiple marriages.
Between 1958 and 1985, McClanahan exchanged vows with five fortunate men: Tom Bish, Norman Hartweg, Peter DeMaio, Sam “Gussie” Fisher, and Tom Keel. However, in 1997, at the age of 63, she found enduring love with Morrow Wilson. This time, Rue didn’t rue the day, as they remained happily together until her passing in 2010.
