Bill de Blasio & Chirlane McCray
The Mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio, tied the knot with his wife, Chirlane McCray, an activist and poet, in 1994. Their paths crossed while working for Mayor Dinkins’ administration, and their love story blossomed from that point forward. Initially, they lived in Park Slope, Brooklyn, before eventually moving to Gracie Mansion, the traditional residence of the New York City Mayor. During Mayor de Blasio’s tenure, their early years of marriage were filled with joy in Park Slope. Together, they are proud parents of two children, Dante and Chiara, both of whom are currently attending college.
