Vanessa & Kobe Bryant
Basketball legend Kobe Bryant encountered his future wife Vanessa in 1999, when she was a mere 17 years old and working as a backup dancer in a music video. At the time, Bryant was occupied with his debut music album. Surprisingly, after a mere six months of dating, the couple became engaged and eventually tied the knot in 2001. Regrettably, Kobe’s parents chose not to attend the wedding due to their disapproval of Vanessa’s race and their perception of her young age, resulting in a period of estrangement. However, when the couple’s first daughter was born in 2003, the Bryants managed to reconcile as a family, and in 2006 they joyously welcomed a second daughter into their lives. In 2011, the couple initiated divorce proceedings, but they ultimately reconciled in 2013. Subsequently, they were blessed with their third child in 2016.
