Hobson was a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Dreamworks Animation. After spending 7 years together, the couple publicly announced their engagement in January 2013, followed by a joyous wedding ceremony just six months later in July, held at the Lucas Skywalker Ranch. Soon after, in the following month, the newlyweds were blessed with their first child, Everest Hobson Lucas, who was born through a surrogate.
