Robert Blossom began his acting career in the theater and made his first screen appearance in 1958. By the time he took on his role in Home Alone in 1990, he had accumulated extensive experience in the industry.

His credits are long and include appearances in popular original films such as “The Great Gatsby” and “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” After his role in Home Alone, he decided to retire from acting and spent his time enjoying life and writing poetry. Robert passed away at the age of 87 in 2011.
