Before her relationship with Prince William, Kate led a relatively ordinary life away from the public eye. However, once her involvement with William became public knowledge, she was thrust directly into the spotlight, becoming a subject of intense scrutiny.
It understandably took her some time to acclimate to the constant watchful eye of the cameras. In this picture, Kate appears slightly nervous, a sentiment one can empathize with. We are pleased that the Princess has adapted and flourished despite this relentless scrutiny over the years.
