This individual’s parents’ love story is one that involved some crafty matchmaking on the part of their father’s family. It all began when their mother was hosting a funeral and their dad’s mother, the poster’s grandmother, approached her and expressed how amazing her son was. While one would assume that a funeral would be too solemn of an occasion for matchmaking, this did not seem to deter the grandmother’s determination.
As it turns out, the entire family was in on the scheme, as the father’s sisters also played a role in setting up the two on a date. Clearly, they believed that the mother was the perfect match for their family and desired her as an in-law. It’s difficult to say whether the father would have made the first move without the gentle nudge from the women in his family, but in any case, their efforts paid off, and the couple eventually fell in love and built a life together.
