The Twitter user’s grandparents first encountered each other at a dance, where they immediately hit it off. However, there was a complication: grandpa had already brought someone else to the event as his date!
Despite this obstacle, the couple spent the entire night together and even departed the dance arm-in-arm. To top it off, they got engaged during the ride home that very night. While their swift courtship is certainly sweet, one can’t help but wonder if grandpa’s initial date was heartbroken by his sudden departure and proposal to someone else. Regardless, the story appears to have had a happy ending.
