Bold Assumption, but Acceptable

It’s baffling to think about the number of men who believe that menstruation is a voluntary act. While it’s true that there are medications that can suppress periods, those aren’t easily accessible and require a doctor’s prescription or a medical reason. If it were possible to skip periods without experiencing a ton of side effects, I’m sure many women would choose to do so. It’s frustrating that some men seem to think that women use periods as an excuse to feel miserable once a month. The reality is that menstruation is an inevitable and often painful experience for many women, and it’s not something that we can control.

Sanitary supplies should be a basic human right, and it’s frustrating that women still have to fight for access to them. Menstrual health is still stigmatized and often misunderstood, even though half the population experiences it. It’s crucial to promote better education and awareness surrounding menstrual health to eliminate harmful beliefs and promote better access to necessary resources. Men should not have a say in women’s menstrual health, and it’s essential to promote inclusivity and understanding surrounding menstrual health. By doing so, we can create a more informed and equitable society.
