Despite tampons being a common and readily available item found in convenience stores, this man managed to go through 34 years of life without ever noticing them. One would think that living with a woman or having a female partner would provide ample opportunity to learn about menstrual health and the products available for managing periods. It’s also possible that he may have been intentionally avoiding the topic out of discomfort or embarrassment, further highlighting the need for better education and communication around menstrual health.
