Every woman has wished at some point in their life that they could control the timing of their periods. It would be a dream come true to be able to start and end our periods at will, especially when it gets in the way of essential events like a beach trip or a vacation. We all have experienced the inconvenience of having to worry about our menstrual cycles, and it’s not surprising that many women would appreciate having some control over it.
It’s ironic that the individual in the Twitter thread was frustrated about women not having control over their periods. What an odd thing to get upset about, given that menstruation is a natural bodily process that women have no control over. If we could choose to have periods, there wouldn’t be any reason for anger over women’s rights or reproductive health. One would hope that this individual had seen recent news articles on women’s issues and reproductive rights to gain a better understanding of the challenges women face. It’s essential to continue to educate and inform individuals about women’s health to promote a more inclusive and informed society.
