The message contained several photos. In them, Emma saw Dominic walking into a hotel. He wasn’t alone. By his side was the same brunette from the party—his boss’s wife. The images told her everything she needed to know. There was no ambiguity, no innocent explanation. Her husband had lied, and now she had the proof in her hands.
Emma’s body went numb. Her breath shortened, and her hands began to shake. She stared at the photos again and again, unable to stop the flood of emotions. Anger. Disbelief. Pain.
