Fully Operational
We all had a good chuckle at this photo. However, these Tower of London ceremonial guardians take their roles very seriously. Also known as The Yeomen Warders of Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London, these individuals are fully operational members of the British Army.
While their duties are largely ceremonial, they are prepared to act if needed. Just be mindful not to touch their hats.
