Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe, well-known for his volatile temperament, which some attribute to his intense role as a Gladiator, found himself in trouble in 2005 at the Mercer Hotel in New York’s fashionable SoHo district. Being away from home for an extended period, Crowe was eager to call his wife but encountered difficulties.

Frustrated, he took his anger out on a hotel employee in the lobby by throwing a phone, resulting in the man being injured below his eye. Law enforcement intervened and escorted Russell away, and he later admitted to the charge. To make amends, Crowe compensated the injured hotel worker for the harm caused by his actions.
