A middleman is an individual or organization that operates between the producer and the end-user in the supply chain. In your case, you purchase products in bulk from the producer and then sell them to us, the market, making you the middleman in this particular scenario.
While you may be the only middleman in this specific supply chain, it is likely that with a company as large as yours, there are additional links that stand between you and the producer. With all factors considered, this advertisement seems rather nonsensical. It may not be your best advertisement to date, but we won’t hold it against you, Trader Joe’s.
