Bethe Correia
A career as an accountant did not provide the fulfillment Bethe Correia sought. She eventually realized that office life was not her calling and that fighting was her true passion.
Correia dedicated herself to studying and training jiu-jitsu, Sanda, and wrestling before making her professional debut in her native Brazil in 2012. After securing victories in her first six fights, she signed with the UFC. While she earned a title shot against Ronda Rousey, she was knocked out just 34 seconds into the fight.
