Randa Markos and her family have endured a lifetime of challenges. Born in Baghdad, she moved to Canada at a young age, and her family faced adversity when they attempted to escape Iraq during the Gulf War.
Markos now draws motivation from her past to fuel her success as a fighter. Known as the “Quiet Storm,” she employs her long reach and strong legs to defeat opponents using a combination of wrestling and jiu-jitsu.
