#28: Treat Food With Respect

In a world where grocery stores are stocked year-round and meals can be delivered within minutes, it’s easy to forget how fortunate we are. That abundance has made many people careless about wasting food without a second thought.

Whether it’s restaurants discarding leftovers or families tossing out perfectly good meals, the amount of waste has become staggering. We owe it to the planet — and to the countless people who go hungry every day — to be more mindful about what we consume and what we throw away.
