#21: A Life Saved — Twice
We spend so much time hearing about violence, selfishness, and tragedy that a story like this feels like a breath of fresh air. Decades ago, an incredibly dedicated doctor worked tirelessly to save the life of a premature infant. The baby survived — and grew up to become a paramedic.
Thirty years later, fate came full circle when that same paramedic ended up saving the doctor’s life during a medical emergency. It’s hard not to get emotional over a story like this. Sometimes life brings everything back around in the most beautiful way.
