21. Mazel Tov!
In 2005, during high school, I attended the most extravagant bar mitzvah I’ve ever seen. It was a 13th birthday party for a girl, and the budget was a staggering $3.5 million. The event featured a circus tent with seating for over 500 guests. Complete with a magic show featuring real elephants and tigers flown in from Las Vegas to Westchester, New York.
Additionally, there was a state-of-the-art arcade tent that outshone Dave and Buster’s, full valet parking. And a limo shuttle service from the estate’s main gate to the venue. Each guest received a lavish gift bag that included luxury items and an iPod mini. It was at this event that I received my first iPod.
