23. Somebody In Cambodia Loves Me
During his extended stay in Cambodia, my affluent friend enjoyed months of nightlife, frequenting clubs and indulging in drinks. Unfortunately, someone seized the opportunity to kidnap him, imprisoning him in a filthy shack.
The kidnappers demanded ransom, but a twist unfolded when his trust manager, well-connected, made crucial calls. A local dignitary arrived with a formidable security detail, forcing the kidnappers to release him.
