5. Who Is This On My New Bed?

During my tenure as a wedding planner, I encountered a couple during their honeymoon who had a unique requirement. They refused to sleep on any mattress that had been previously used by someone else. Determined to maintain their comfort and hygiene standards. They took matters into their own hands by purchasing a brand-new mattress for each hotel they stayed in.

Each mattress cost upwards of $5,000, and throughout their honeymoon, they checked into five different hotels. They were meticulous about using each mattress for only a few nights before moving on to the next destination. As their wedding planner, I was tasked with ensuring that each used mattress was properly disposed of. Which added an unexpected logistical challenge to their luxurious yet unconventional travel arrangement.
