More Than Just an Actor – For Better or Worse
Ryan possesses various remarkable talents beyond acting. For instance, he took on constructing the car he drove in the film “Drive.” The director shared that “Ryan wanted to build his car. So the car, the Malibu, the old gray car he drives around, he built himself. He took it apart and put it back together.” This isn’t his sole foray into building film props—he also constructed the distinctive table featured in “The Notebook.”
In a different endeavor, Ryan ventured into the culinary world by opening a Moroccan restaurant named Tagine in Beverly Hills. However, the undertaking posed financial challenges, nearly leading to his bankruptcy. He went hands-on, delving into plumbing and even taking on dishwashing duties. And then there’s Ryan’s venture into DIY tattoos. Armed with a tattoo kit and no prior experience, he attempted to ink a design of a bloody monster’s hand, but the outcome resembled a cactus instead!
