Discovered at a Young Age
Sofia Vergara’s journey into the world of modeling and entertainment began when she was a teenager. While walking along a Colombian beach, a photographer approached her and asked if he could take her pictures. However, she initially hesitated due to her Catholic upbringing, fearing that the nuns at her Catholic school might see it as contradictory or disapproved.
Thankfully, Sofia’s mother convinced her to try it, and her schoolteachers granted her permission. At 17, Sofia Vergara appeared in a Pepsi commercial, beginning her successful career in the entertainment industry.
