A Large Latin Family

Sofia Vergara was raised in a Roman Catholic household and was accustomed to being a part of a big Latin family. Her mother, Margarita Vergara de Vergara, took care of the home, while her father, Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo, enjoyed success as a cattle rancher. The actress, known for her role in Modern Family, has five siblings and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Despite some drawbacks of having a large family, Vergara has mentioned that one of the significant benefits is the strong support system it provides. When facing difficult times, she knows that her family will always be there to lend their support.
