Quark – Armin Shimerman
What would this list be without a few Star Trek characters? The adored science fiction series began in the 1960s and encompasses numerous films, TV shows, and comics. American actor Armin Shimerman portrays Quark, the Ferengi character known for providing comedic relief, complete with an extraterrestrial appearance.
Armin acknowledges makeup artist Karen Westerfield for her contribution to Quark’s appearance. He has expressed, “I always say that Karen played a significant role in creating Quark, just as much as I did.” Understandably, the actor’s real-life appearance is quite different from his alien counterpart’s. That must come as a relief.
