Signing a 400 Million-Year-Old Sandstorm Formation
Two tourists visiting Starved Rock State Park decided it would be a good idea to draw their initials on a historical landmark that is not only hundreds of millions of years old but also a sacred place for Native Americans.
They were caught after a park intern found a picture of the culprits on Instagram with the graffiti behind them. Sadly, they were never apprehended and managed to get away with their defacement.
