Defilement at the Colosseum
A tourist from Ireland decided to defile the ancient Roman Colosseum by carving his initials into the wall. He was caught in the act of using a metal point to etch his initials into the structure that had been erected two millennia ago.
This historical landmark is considered one of the world’s seven wonders, and the defacement of any of these wonders can result in up to a year spent in prison or a minimum fine of $2,400. So, don’t be like this guy.
