Still Beating You
Usually, runners’ shirts are competitive and assertive, featuring slogans like “Just do it” or “Strong is the new skinny.” It’s rare to see someone working out while wearing something as self-deprecating as this.
“50,” “Fat,” and “Diabetic” are all characteristics we typically don’t associate with pride on a T-shirt during an athletic event. However, this guy makes a valid point. He appears to maintain a good pace, and we must catch up.
